What is தமிழ் DAO?

A Tamil-first, decentralized platform for democratic self-governance. It combines civic tools, AI, and transparent record-keeping to help communities manage their own affairs — from a street in Chennai to a diaspora network in Toronto.

Annihilation of CasteStructural dismantling of caste power — equal access to land, temple, water, burial ground, and school for all. No local vote can approve segregation or denial of dignity.
Tamil National RightsSelf-determination, language rights, war crimes documentation, missing persons archive, and diaspora advocacy through democratic, legal, human-rights-centered means.

Makkal MandramPeople's assembly at every level. Discuss, propose, vote, review officials. Special assemblies for athithamizhar, women, farmers, fisherfolk, workers, students, refugees, and diaspora.
Participatory BudgetingEvery rupee visible — village, ward, municipality, district budgets. Public project ranking, scheme-wise spending, contractor payments. Tracks whether money reaches athithamizhar colonies and women-led households.
Anti-Caste JusticeReport atrocities and discrimination. Secure evidence vault. Legal aid routing. Covers social boycott, temple entry, burial ground access, school abuse, manual scavenging. Anonymous and survivor-led.
Representative AccountabilityEvery elected official has a public dashboard — promises, attendance, funds, votes, caste abolition record. AI generates monthly report cards and broken promise lists in plain Tamil.
Proposal EngineCitizens submit proposals. 10-step flow: problem → evidence → AI clarity → discussion → rights check → budget estimate → expert review → public vote → implementation → audit.
AI Public ServantExplains laws, simulates budget impact, detects corruption, summarizes debates, translates Tamil / English / Sinhala, voice interface. Every output shows sources and can be appealed.
